Pretty Things

The Pretty Things are an English rock and roll band formed in London, England, the UK in 1964. The band was founded by Dick Taylor and Phil May when they met each other at London Central School of Art. Before entering the school, Taylor was a member of the Rolling Stones along with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones. Soon, he left the band. The Pretty Things composed of the two members at first – Taylor on guitar and May on vocals and harmonica. They recruited other members Brian Pendleton, John Stax, and Viv Prince to complete the line-up. The line-up wasn’t stable and the only original members in the current line-up are Taylor and May. The band reached success at the beginning of their career hitting the UK singles chart with "Rosalyn", "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Honey I Need".
