Plus One

Plus One was an American Christian pop band created by Atlantic records. Label wanted to repeat the success of secular bands like Backstreet Boys and ‘N sync. The band was formed in 2000 in Tennessee, the United States and comprised Nate Cole, Gabe Combs, Jeremy Mhire, Jason Perry and Nathan Walters. The band has released four albums including a Christmas album. The debut album The Promise came out in 2000 and reached Gold status with worldwide sales more than 500,000 copies. The album climbed on the top of the Contemporary Christian music chart and peaked at number 76 on the Billboard 200. The next their efforts were less popular than then debut album. The band quietly dissolved in 2004 due to the decline of their popularity, though the last album featured their own material and departure from boys band image.
