Pipettes

The Pipettes are a British indie pop group formed in Brighton, England in 2003. The group was founded by Robert Barry. The original line-up composed of Julia Clarke-Lowes, Rose Elinor Dougall and Rebecca Stephens. However, Clarke-Lowes was replaced by Gwenno Saunders. Since that time, the line-up had changed greatly. Other girls from the initial line-up left the group and the current members are Saunders, her sister Ani, and Beth Mburu-Bowie. The girls are backed by male band, consisting of Monster Bobby, the Falcone brothers; Jon and Seb, and Alex White. The backing band don’t give interviews making the focus on the girl part of the group. The group has released only one album “We Are the Pipettes”.
