Pendragon

English neo-progressive rock band Pendragon was formed in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England in 1978. The band was founded by guitarist Nick Barrett. The original name was Zeus Pendragon but later the band decided to drop Zeus as the name was too long. The band’s line-up is stable since 1986 (except for drummer) and composes of Nick Barrett on vocals and guitar, Peter Gee on bass, Clive Nolan on keyboards and of Scott Higham on drums. During its career the band has released eight studio albums, one EP, seven live albums, three EPs, four DVDs and five compilation albums. The debut album The Jewel was released in 1985 but it didn’t earn any success. The band tried to breakthrough to the mainstream and these efforts can be seen in the album Kowtow.
