Paula Cole is an American singer-songwriter, born on April 5, 1968 in Rockport, Massachusetts, the Unites States. She began her professional music career in 1992. Soon, she was noticed by Peter Gabriel and she featured his 1993-1994 Secret World Live tour. This was a springboard for her following success career. Peter Gabriel’s tour earned her a contract with Imago Records. She released her debut album Harbinger in 1994 but the record label disappeared from business and Cole was signed by Warner Bros. Records. Her second album This Fire was released in 1996. The first single from the album was "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone". The song has become a true hit on the radio and on MTV.
