Patsy Cline

Patsy Cline, one of the greatest singers in the history of country music, was born as Virginia Patterson Hensley on September 8, 1932, in Winchester, Virginia. Unfairly the top of her popularity concurred with her untimely and tragic death on March 5th, 1963 in airplane crash. She helped to inspire and to impress women musicians all around the world to stand up and be counted in the country and western music world above and beyond Nashville sound. The legendary song “I Fall to Pieces” took the top positions on both country and pop charts and position No. 6 on the adult contemporary charts. She also had time to release the super singles “Crazy” and ”She’s Got You” in 1961-62. She is still remaining a legend of American popular music, several books and films are devoted to her.
