Paloma Faith

Paloma Faith, birth name Paloma Faith Blomfield is a British singer and actress born on July 21, 1985 in Hackney, North London, the UK. She is half-English and half Spanish and was raised in Stoke Newington by her English mother. While she was studying in Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, she was working part-time jobs like magician’s assistant, life model, and a singer in a burlesque cabaret. Faith cites many artists who influenced her as a singer, including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday and Etta James. Her debut album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? was released in 2009. The album came out through Epic Records and earned mainstream success for Faith.
