Orianthi

Orianthi Panagaris is an Australian guitarist and rock/pop musician born on January 22, 1985 in Adelaide, Australia. She is of Greek descent and known professionally as Orianthi. She learnt to play acoustic guitar at the age of six, started to play electric when she was eleven and left school at 15 to pursue her music career. When she was 15 she supported Steve Vai, at 18 she jammed with Carlos Santana. She was a lead guitarist to a number of famous artists including Michael Jackson, Carrie Underwood and others. She signed with Geffen Records and released her debut studio album Believe in 2009. The album reached number 6 on the ARIA charts, number 4 on Oricon chart, and number 1 on the U.S. Top Heatseekers.
