Onyx

Onyx is a hip hop group from New York City, New York, USA. It was formed in 1988 by Fredro Starr, Sonsee, the late Big DS, who later left the group. Sticky Fingaz, Starr’s cousin joined the band in 1991. The band got a contract with Def Jam and released their debut album Bacdafucup in 1993. The song Slam became their first hit and it was highly rotated on the radio and on MTV. You can download it and the whole debut album of Onyx in mp3 from our site. All We Got Iz Us is their next album, released in 1995. It was less popular but many of their fans call this work to be the best. Fredro Starr is known to be in confrontation with 50 Cent who is according to him was always disrespectful to Onyx. Interesting fact is that the band was a cult group in ex-USSR countries in 90s. It was a cult one in all hip hop culture in general during the 90s.
