One Republic is an American rock group formed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the United States in 2002. The band was founded by Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins. The current line-up composes of Ryan Tedder (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, piano, tambourine), Zach Filkins (lead guitar, viola, backing vocals), Brent Kutzle (rhythm guitar, keyboard, glockenspiel), Drew Brown (bass guitar, cello) and Eddie Fisher (drums, percussion). The band achieved their first success in the Internet on their MySpace page becoming the most popular unsigned act. They singed to Mosley Music Group in 2006 and the debut album Dreaming Out Loud was released in 2007. The album was supported by a hit single number one "Apologize" (feat. Timbaland).
