The Oak Ridge Boys are an American music group formed in 1945 as the Oak Ridge Quartet. The band’s current line-up composes of Duane Allen (lead singer, second tenor), Joe Bonsall (tenor), William Lee Golden (baritone) and Richard Sterban (bass). The group was originally a gospel one, but later they switched to country music. The group has a rich discography containing 24 studio albums, 14 compilation albums, 56 singles and 21 music videos. The peak of the band’s career was in 1981 when they released their album Fancy Free. The album was certified 2 x Multi-Platinum in the U.S. and Platinum in Canada. It was supported by hit singles number one “Elvira” and “Fancy Free”. In their career, 17 singles reached the top of the Country chart.
