O-Zone

Electronica and eurodance music band O-Zone from Moldova was formed in 1999. The act broke up in 2005. The band's members were Dan Bălan, Radu Sîrbu and Arsenie Todiraş. Originally, the act was created by two members Dan Bălan and Petru Jelihovschi. As a duo, they released their debut album, Dar, unde eşti..., in 2000. Several years later, Arsenie Todiraş, joined the band. They achieved mainstream success in 2004 with their breakthrough album, Disco Zone, which earned an international recognition for the band. This record produced several hit singles such as "Crede-mă", "Ma Ya Hi", "Despre tine" and the band's biggest hit "Dragostea din tei". The album's lead track, "Dragostea din tei", reached number one on the Eurochart Hot 100 and number three in the United Kingdom.
