Nits

The Nits are a Dutch band formed in 1974 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The band line-up was changing through the years and the core of the band are Henk Hofstede -the group's lead singer and lyricist, Rob Kloet – drummer and Robert Jan Stips - keyboards. The band was under influence of the English pop bands like of the Beatles. They incorporated some New Wave sounds in the music and began recording their debut independent LP The Nits. The band was noticed by Columbia Records and was signed. The band always used English language for their possible international break, however their records haven’t been noticed by the majority of the audience. Nevertheless, the band keeps on releasing new albums with new music. Their discography is very rich – more than 20 albums. You can download the Nits’ album Wool (2000) in mp3 from our site.
