Nickel Creek

Nickel Creek was an American acoustic trio formed in San Diego Country, California, the United States in 1989 and disbanded in 2007. The trio consisted of Chris Thile (mandolin), Sara Watkins (fiddle) and of Sean Watkins (guitar). Bass player always featured their tours but no one else was an official member of the band. During their career they released five studio albums. The breakthrough to the mainstream success happened with their third self-titled album Nickel Creek which was certified Platinum in the U.S. It reached number 2 on the U.S. Bluegrass chart and number 13 on the American country chart. The album spawned several hit singles like “When You Come Back Down”, “The Lighthouse Tale” and “Reasons why”. You can download the breakthrough album by Nickel Creek in mp3 from our site.
