Nick Cave

Nicholas Edward Cave, known better as Nick Cave, was born on 22 September 1957 Warracknabeal, Victoria, Australia. He is an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist covering such genres like post-punk, alternative rock and garage rock. He is best known for his work in the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and earlier for fronting the band The Birthday Party. He is also a screenwriter and occasional actor and writer as well. He has released two novels And the Ass Saw the Angel (1989) and The Death of Bunny Munro (2009). During his career, he has collaborated with various artists, like Kylie Minogue, Chris Bailey and some others. In addition to his performances with The Bad Seeds, he is doing a solo career and created his backing band called “Grinderman”.
