Irish alternative rock, shoegazing, noise pop and indie pop band My Bloody Valentine from Dublin, were formed in 1983. The band's current line-up comprises Kevin Shields, Bilinda Butcher, Debbie Googe and Colm Ó Cíosóig. In the late 1970s, Colm Ó Cíosóig and Kevin Shields met each other. They had many common interests, especially in music. When they were teenagers, they joined punk rock group called "The Complex". Several years later, they decided to form their own group and also invited Dave Conway. They achieved mainstream success in the early 1990s with their album, Loveless, which produced the band's most popular singles such as "Only Shallow", "Loomer", "Touched", "To Here Knows When" and "When You Sleep".
