Music, The

English alternative rock band The Music was formed in Kippax, Leeds, England, the UK in 1999. The band’s line-up composes of Robert Harvey (vocals, guitar), Adam Nutter (lead guitar), Stuart Coleman (bass) and of Phil Jordan (drums). The band has released three studio albums so far. The debut album The Music was released in 2002 under the Hit and Capitol Records. The album charted quite well and rose the band to prominence. It reached number 4 on the UK albums chart and was certified Gold. The album was also noticed in Australia where it received Gold certificate as well. The next record titled Welcome to the North also became Gold in the UK but charted little worse peaking at number 8.
