Nick Carter, better known under his stage name MURS, is an American rapper born on March 16, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, the United States. His moniker is an abbreviate for Making Underground Raw Shit. During his career, he has been part of many different rap groups and he has been a solo artist as well. He debuted as a solo rapper in 1993 taking a single from the album of his first rap group 3MG (3 Melancholy Gypsies). Later all band members went to join another group. It is known now as Living Legends. At the same time, MURS formed a duo with rapper Slug, and their project is known as Felt. Other bands where MURS takes an active role are The Netherworlds, the Righteous Brothers Project, The Underbosses and The Invincible(s). Being a solo artist, MURS has released eight studio albums.
