Minor Threat

American hardcore and punk band Minor Threat from Washington, D.C., was active from 1980 to 1983. The band's line-up comprised Ian MacKaye (vocals), Lyle Preslar (guitar), Brian Baker (bass), Steve Hansgen (bass) and Jeff Nelson (drums). They emerged on the American hardcore punk music scene in the early 1981 with their self-titled EP. At the same year, they released their following work entitled In My Eyes. They achieved mainstream success with their debut studio album, Out of Step, which spawned several singles such as "It Follows", "Think Again", "Look Back and Laugh" and "Sob Story". In the late 1990s, they released their first and most commercially successful album, Complete Discography, which received mainly positive reviews from critics. This record yielded the singles such as "Screaming At A Wall", "Bottled Violence", "Minor Threat", "Stand Up", "12XU" and "In My Eyes".
