Milli Vanilli

Milli Vanilli was a German pop duo, a project of Frank Farian. The group was formed in 1988 and disbanded after the scandal when it was discovered that group members didn’t sing at all and all the material was recorded in the studio by other musicians and vocalists. Milli Vanilli’s members were Fabrice Morvan and Robert Pilatus who were hired as dancers at first because the studio musicians appearance didn’t respond expectations of the teenage audience. The debut album All or Nothing (Girl You Know it’s true) was sold by many million copies and even Michael Jackson called Farian for collaboration. Milli Vanilli became pop idols in many countries including USA, Australia and Latin America.
