Michelle Branch, birth name Michelle Jacquet DeSevren Branch was born on July 2, 1983 in Sedona, Arizona, the United States. She’s an American singer-songwriter and guitarist working in such genres as acoustic, country, rock, alternative. While being an opening act for Hanson in 2000 she was signed by Maverick Records and released her second album The Spirit Room, which produced a hit single Everywhere reaching # 7 on R & R pop chart. Later her career went up due to the very successful collaboration with Santana. They released a song The Game of Love which won Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. The album went on Platinum in the US and Gold in Australia. Her next album Hotel Paper continued her success spawning such singles as Are You happy Now? and Breath.
