American hip-hop band Method Man & Redman (also known as Red & Meth or Meth & Red) was formed in 1995. The band comprises rap superstars Method Man (of Wu-Tang Clan) and Redman (of Def Squad). They are known each other since they were kids. They are both signed with the record label Def Jam. They rose to fame in 1999 with their debut album, Blackout!, which has been certified platinum in US. It also produced three singles, "Da Rockwilder", "Y.O.U." and "Tear It Off".
