American metal, grunge and hardcore punk band Melvins from Montesano, Washington, was formed in 1982. The band comprises Buzz Osborne (lead vocals and guitar), Dale Crover (drums, percussion and vocals), Coady Willis (drums) and Jared Warren (bass guitar and vocals). Their music style is heavily influenced by Black Flag's punk rock and metal sounds. They started with covering songs of The Who and Jimi Hendrix. Kurt Cobain was a good friend of Dale Crover and Buzz Osborne. It was he, who helped the band to record their breakthrough album, Houdini, which was released through Atlantic Records in 1993. It also yielded several singles such as "Hooch", "Night Goat", "Lizzy" and "Going Blind". Now, you may download this album by Melvins in mp3 from our site.
