Megaherz is German band from Munich, Germany formed in 1993. The band’s current lien-up composes of Alexander "Lex" Wohnhaas (vocals), Christian "X-ti" Bystron (lead guitar, programming), Wenz "Wenz" Weninger (bass guitar), Jürgen "Bam Bam" Wiehler (drums) and Roland Vencelj (rhythm guitar). The band’s style is Neue Deutsche Härte, which is actually a fusion of crossover, grunge and industrial. The band was formed as a project of Alexander Wesselsky (who is no longer with the band) and their earlier works were kind of dark alternative comparable to Oomph! and Rammstein or to Faith No More. However, the band was much influenced by Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and some other bands. The band has released seven studio albums.
