Masquerade

Masquerade is a Swedish rock band formed in Skovde, Sweden in 1988. The band members are Tony Johansson – vocals, Thomas G:son – guitars, Marco Tapani – drums, Henrik Lundberg – bass. The breakthrough to the mainstream success happened when their demo cassette was reviewed by the English magazine Metal Hammer. The magazine gave a very high rating of the promo record. This allowed the band to begin recording their full-length album at the studio. They signed a deal with Empire Records which brought them a very good engineer Ronny Lahti who had previously worked with Europe, Saigon Kick, Talisman and with other famous bands. The group’s debut self-titled album was released in 1992. Their second album Surface of Pain was released in 1995. You can download this album by Masquerade in mp3 from our site.
