Maritime

American indie rock group Maritime was formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States in 2003. It was formed by the members of two other groups which had broken up, i.e. The Promise Ring and The Dismemberment Plan. The group consists of Dan Didier, Davey von Bohlen, Justin Klug, Dan Hinz. The band has released three full-length albums and one EP – Adios EP (2003), Glass Floor (2004), We, the Vehicles (2006), Heresy and the Hotel Choir (2007). Second album We, the Vehicles was critically acclaimed and the last album spawned even a single, Guns of Navarone which you can download from our site in mp3. Maritime collaborated with different labels beginning with ANTI- and ending with Flameshovel Records. The last album was released in Germany on Grand Hotel van Cleef. It’s the only international release of the group, yet they haven’t achieved any mainstream success.
