Marco Mengoni

Marco Mengoni is an Italian singer born on December 25, 1988 in Ronciglione, Viterbo, Italy. He rose to the national fame when he won the third season of the X Factor TV show in Italy. During the show he showed the abilities to sing in different styles. He performed AC/DC’s Back in black, Michael Jackson’s Man in the mirror, Mia Martini’s Almeno tu nell'universo and Nina Simone’s My baby just cares for me. After such a successful start he released his debut extended play titled “Dove Si Vola” (Where you fly). The EP contains two new songs and five covers. Inspired by his popularity and success, Mengoni took part in the prestigious Sanremo Festival where he won third place with his song Credimi ancora (Believe me again).
