Manes

Manes is a Norwegian metal band formed in Trondheim, Norway in 1992/1993. The initial band’s line-up composed of Sargatanas (vocals), Cern (guitars, synths, programming etc. – everything except for the vocals). This line-up recorded the first demos and the debut album Under Ein Blodraud Maane (1999). After that, Sargatanas left the band. In order to revive the group Cern recruited other musicians for the full-size band. The current line-up composes of Cern (guitar, electronics), Eivind Ford (guitars) and Torstein Parelius (bass guitar). Originally, the band was signed to the Italian experimental label Code666 and Hammerheart Records, but now they are signed to Candlelight Records. The follow up album Vilosophe came out in 2003.
