Lulu Kennedy-Cairns (born Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie) on November 3, 1948 in Glasgow, Scotland, is a British singer-songwriter, actress, model and television personality. She began her successful career in early 1960s, having appeared on the stage at the age of 15 being a member of the group “The Luvvers”. Later in 1965, she began her solo career and it continues till the present day. Lulu has the Oder of British Empire. She presented the UK at Eurovision song contest with a song “Boom Bang-A-Bang” and became a winner. She also performed the title song for the James Bong movie The Man with the Golden Gun. She collaborated with Elton John, Paul McCartney and supported Barack Obama as President of the USA. Her most well-known hits are “To Sir, With Love” and “Shout”.
