Louise Attaque

Louise Attaque was a French band formed in Paris, France in 1994. The band was formed under the name Caravage in 1990 and was later transformed in Louise Attaque. The band members were Gaëtan Roussel (vocals, guitar), Arnaud Samuel (violin), Robin Feix (bass guitar) and Alexandre Margraff (drums). The band split in 2007. Their sound can be described as fusion of folk rock with chanson. The group had chart success and was recognized receiving French music awards Victoire de la musique three times – in 1999 (as the band of the year), in 2001 (as "rock album of the year" for the album Comme on a dit) and in 2006 ("Pop/rock album of the year" for the album A Plus Tard Crocodile).
