Lordi

Lordi is a Finnish hard rock and heavy metal band formed in Helsinki, Finland in 1996. The band’s members are Mr. Lordi – vocals, Amen – lead guitars, Kita – drums, backing vocals, OX – bass and Awa – keyboards, backing vocals. The band is known for wearing monster masks during their live shows. They also use many special effects like pyrotechnics. During its career, the band has released four studio albums. The most popular one is their third release titled The Arockalypse. It came out in 2006, a year when Lordi won the Eurovision song contest. The band performed “Hard Rock Hallelujah” and became the first one, though many people criticized the band for being “satan”. The next year saw the band taking part in the Ozzfest tour.
