Lil Wyte

American rapper Lil Wyte (birth name Patrick Lanshaw) was born on October 6th, 1982, in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. He is also a member of the rap band Hypnotize Minds. Since his childhood, he wanted to be a rapper. And at the age of eight, he discovered his rapping talent. It was not difficult for him to rap Sir Mix-a-Lot's hit single, "Baby Got Back", without missing a word. At high school, Patrick began participating in freestyle battles. Later his friend inspired Lanshaw to use a pseudonym Lil Wyte when they together rapped the song "Lil Black". After that, Patrick also decided to write songs instead of freestyling. He dropped out of high school to start the career of rapper. He achieved mainstream success in 2007 with his breakthrough album, The One and Only, which debuted at number 45 on the Billboard 200 and yielded the hit single, "Talkin' Aint Walkin'".
