Leon Russell is an American singer. His real name is Claude Russell Bridges. Leon Russell was born in southwest Oklahoma on April 2 in 1942. He began his solo music career at the beginning of 70s. He performed in different genres of rock, blues, and gospel. Now Leon Russell is known as a legend of rock-music. Leon Russell released over 40 albums: "Look Inside the Asylum Choir", "One For the Road", "Gimme Shelter: The Best of Leon Russell", "In Your Dreams", etc. In 1971, Leon Russell played with Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan. In 1975, Claude Russell Bridges married Mary McCreary. They have two children - a boy Teddy Jack and a girl Tina Rose.
