Leigh Nash

Leigh Nash, birth name Leigh Anne Bingham, is an American singer-songwriter and musician born on June 27, 1976 in New Braunfels, Texas. She is known best of all as a lead singer of the rock band Sixpence None The Richer. She began playing guitar when she was twelve and she learnt old country songs at that time. Later, she performed at a local café and one day she met guitarist and songwriter Matt Slocum. Together, they decided to form a band that was called Sixpence None The Richer. Besides her career in a band, Nash pursued a solo career. Her debut album Blue on Blue was released in 2006 through One Son/Nettwerk Records. The album received positive critics from Allmusic and Jesus Freak Hideout. The album was supported by three singles “My Idea of heaven”, “Ocean Size Love” and “Blue Sky”.
