Leeway

Leeway was an American crossover thrash metal band formed in Astoria, New York, the United States in 1984. The band was founded by Eddie Sutton on vocals and A.J. Novello on guitar. The other members were Michael Gibbons – guitar, Jimmy Xanthos – bass and Pokey – drums. The band also played thrash metal, and hardcore punk. They were one of the first to combine metal and hip-hop with hardcore format. The band was signed to Profile Records. They released their debut album Born to Expire in 1988. That was followed by three albums Desperate Measures (1991), Adult Crash (1994) and Open Mouth Kiss (1995). The band split after the release of their fourth album. In 2006, they re-united with their original line-up. The band hasn’t reached the mainstream and commercial success. You can download Leeway’s albums in mp3 from our site.
