Leahy

Canadian folk and country music band Leahy from Lakefield, Ontario, was formed in 1980. The band comprises Donnell Leahy (Fiddle), Erin Leahy (Piano, Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, Vocals, Bass), Angus Leahy (Fiddle), Maria Leahy (Guitar, Banjo, Vocals), Siobheann Donohue (Bass, Vocals, Fiddle), Doug Leahy (Fiddle), Agnes Enright (Keyboards, Step dancer, Vocals) and Frank Leahy (Drums). They are all from the Leahy family. In the early 1980s, they were known as The Leahy Family. During this time, they were touring Canada and the United States. They rose to fame with their breakthrough self-titled debut album, which spawned the hit single, "The Call to Dance". This song became the band's first successful hit.
