Laura Branigan

Laura Ann Branigan was an American pop singer born on July 3, 1957 in Brewster, New York, the United States and died on August 26, 2004 in East Quogue, New York, the United States. She was very popular during the 1980s and received Grammy nomination. During her career, she has released seven studio albums, 5 compilation albums and 28 singles. Her best-selling album was a record titled Self Control released in 1984 through Atlantic Records. The album was supported by a hit single “Self Control” that reached the top spot of the charts in such countries like Canada, Germany, South Africa and Austria. The song was number four on the Billboard Hot 100. Her other hit singles are "Gloria", "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You", "The Lucky One" and others.
