Laura Ashley Bell Bundy is an American actress and singer, born on April 10, 1981 in Lexington, Kentucky, the United States. She is known for number of Broadway roles, both leading and supporting, for roles in films and television. She is prominent for Elle Woods in Legally Blonde - The Musical and Amber in Hairspray. She decided to pursue music career as well and signed to Mercury Records Nashville. The debut album Achin’ and Shakin’ was released in April 2010. The album peaked at Top Country Albums chart on number 5 and reached number 28 on the Billboard 200. The album was supported by the single "Giddy On Up". it reached number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 despite mixed reviews from the critics.
