La Bouche

La Bouche was a German eurodance and dance-pop group created by a famous German producer Frank Farian. The group was founded in 1994 and the original line-up composed of Americans Melanie Thornton and Lane McCray. The debut album Sweet Dreams was released in 1995. The album was supported by several singles and some of them became real worldwide hits. The debut single “Sweet Dreams” hit the charts in many European countries while the second single “Be My Lover” broke up the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number 6. The singles reached number 1 in Germany, Sweden and was in the top 5 in Australia, Italy, Norway. The same hit topped the Hot Dance Club Play chart.
