Kriss Kross

Kriss Kross is an American teenage hip hop duo coming from Atlanta, Georgia, the United States. The duo was formed in the early 1990s and composed of Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly and Chris "Daddy Mac" Smith. Kelly and Smith are childhood friends. They were discovered by Jermaine Dupri who decided that the twosome looked like a rap group and decided to create it. The debut album Totally Krossed Out was released in 1992 through Ruffhouse/Columbia Records. The album became a hit and reached number 1 on the Billboard 200 and on US Top R&B/Hip-hop albums. The band received international promotion as well and the album charted in the UK, Australia, Sweden and Austria.
