Kitchens Of Distinction

Kitchens of Distinctions (known as KOD) was an alternative rock band from South London, England formed in 1986. The band composed of Patrick Fitzgerald (vocals, guitar), Julian Swales (guitar) and of Dan Goodwin (drums). The band has released four albums and several EPs and singles during their career. Fitzgerald was an open gay and some lyrics was connected with this, for example such tracks like, “Prize” and “Within the Daze of Passion”. Generally, the band is remarkable for their lyrical themes. One more topic was a possible killing of British prime-minister Margaret Thatcher which they showed in their Elephantine EP. The debut album Love is Hell was released in 1989.
