Kelly Rowland

American R&B, pop, dance-pop and house singer-songwriter, actress, model and television host Kelly Rowland was born on February 11, 1981, in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. She became famous as one of the founding members of the girl group Destiny's Child. During the hiatus of the group, she collaborated with rapper Nelly on the single "Dilemma", a worldwide number-one hit, and released her rock pop-influenced debut solo album Simply Deep in 2002. The album peaked at number twelve on the Billboard 200 in the U.S., where it was certified gold by the RIAA. It also topped the UK Albums Chart and became a gold-seller in Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and other countries.
