Keith Sweat

American R&B and soul singer-songwriter and record producer Keith Sweat was born on July 22, 1961, in Harlem, New York. He began his career as a member of Harlem band called "Jamilah" in the mid-1970. He achieved mainstream success as a solo singer in 1987 with his debut album, Make It Last Forever, which spawned two hit singles such as "I Want Her" and "Make It Last Forever" (featuring Jacci McGhee). It also has been certified platinum three times in the U.S. The album's lead single, "I Want Her", reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1996, he released his most commercially successful self-titled album, which was certified platinum five times. It also yielded the singles, "Nobody" (featuring Athena Cage), "Just A Touch" (featuring Traci Hale) and "Twisted" (featuring Pretty Russ & Kut Klose).
