KAT-TUN

KAT-TUN is a Japanese pop rock boy band formed in 2001 in Tokyo, Japan. The band was created by Johnny & Associates, they are signed to J-One Records. The band’s name is an acronym that stands for the first letters from the members’ surnames - Kazuya Kamenashi, Jin Akanishi, Junnosuke Taguchi, Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda, Yuichi Nakamaru. The band has released five studio albums and remains one of the most popular acts in Japan. The debut album Best of KAT-TUN was released in 2006 and reached number one on the Oricon chart.
