Kashmir

Kashmir is a Danish rock band, which was formed in 1991. The band composes of Kasper Eistrup (vocals and lead guitar); Mads Tunebjerg (bass); Asger Techau (drums) and Henrik Lindstrand (keyboards and guitar). Originally the band’s name was Nirvana but when American band with the same name rose to prominence they changed their name to Kashmir after the Led Zeppelin song. The band was formed by Eistrup, Tunebjerg and Techau while they were in the boarding school. The first performances were held in a local high school. During their career they released five studio albums and the last No Balance Place was released in 2005. You can download this album by Kashmir in mp3 from our site. The album features Eistrup duet with David Bowie. They sing together the track “The Cynic”. The album also includes Lou Reed who recites a poem by Eistrup on “Black Building”.
