Junior Varsity

The Junior Varsity was an American alternative rock band from Springfield, Illinois. The band was founded in 2002 by guitarist Andy Wildrick. The final line-up composed of Andy Wildrick (lead guitar), Sergio Coronado (rhythm guitar, vocals), Chris Birch (percussion), Nick Dodson (synth, keyboard, saxophone) and Brandon Carnes (Fill in Vocals/Bass). Carnes replaced Asa Dawson who had left the band. The band officially announced about their split in 2007. According to some rumors, the band have some plans for reunion. They have released three long plays. The debut one The Great Compromise was released in 2004. The band toured and their energetic live shows caught an eye of Victory Records who signed the band afterwards. The band featured Warped Tour 2005 and 2006 and opened for many emo and punk bands.
