John Stevens better known under his stage name John Legend is an American recording artist, actor and multi-instrumentalist was born on December 29, 1978 in Springfield, Ohio, the United States. He won six Grammy Awards. Before starting his solo career he collaborated with many famous artists like Kanye West, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and others. He released his debut album Get Lifted in 2004 through GOOD Music/Columbia Records. The album was welcomed by the fans and the critics and eventually it was certified Platinum in the US and Gold in the UK. It was supported by such singles like "Used to Love U", "Ordinary People", "Number One" (feat. Kanye West) and others. His last album is a collaboration with the Roots.
