American rapper Jim Jones (birth name Joseph Guillermo Jones II) was born on July 15, 1976, in New York City, New York, United States. He is also known as an original member of The Diplomats, and also known as Dipset. He achieved mainstream success with his breakthrough album, Harlem: Diary of a Summer (2005), which debuted and peaked at number 5 on the Billboard 200. This album also spawned several singles such as "Baby Girl" (feat. Max B), "Summer wit Miami" (feat. Trey Songz) and "What You Been Drankin On?" (feat. Jha Jha, P. Diddy & Paul Wall).
