Jesu

English experimental rock, post-metal and ambient band Jesu from Abergele, Wales, was formed in 2003. The band's current line-up comprises Justin Broadrick (guitar, vocals, programming, bass guitar, seven-string guitar), Diarmuid Dalton (bass guitar) and Ted Parsons (drums, percussion). The band's music style is heavily influenced by shoegazing, downtempo and industrial music sounds. They gained popularity in 2004 with their self-titled debut album, which produced several singles including "We All Faulter", "Walk On Water", "Sun Day" and "Man/Woman". In 2007, they released their following and most successful album, Conqueror, which received good reviews from critics.
