Jan Delay

Jan Phillip Eißfeldt known better as Jan Delay is a German singer, songwriter and producer born on August 25, 1976 in Hamburg, Germany. He is known also under many other names including Eißfeldt, Eizi Eiz, Boba Ffett. He changes them according to the genre he performs. He was noticed to sing in hip hop, reggae, dub and funk. Delay is known to dislike interviews and much promotion for his songs. He has released five albums including one live record since 2001. This year saw his debut album Searching for the Jan Soul Rebels. The album was highly acclaimed by the critics and German hip hop magazine Juice ranked it 6 out of 6.
